ANNOUNCES SIGNING OF ORFILA

February 12, 2003, SEATTLE — Blue Storm Records is proud to announce the signing of "Orfila", the latest project headed-up by former Beware the Haberdash and Happy Death Men vocalist Marco D'Amico. Orfila will release their debut on Blue Storm Records in early summer, 2003.

"We've got loads of songs that we are kicking through right now. I'll take the best 6 or 7 and go from there..." said D'Amico from his north Seattle home.

What will the album sound like? "Not sure really. We'll produce it
ourselves this time. My guess is that it will sound like a cross between Tony Bennett, Johnny Cash, and ABBA."

Song titles being mentioned at press time include "Lost My Axis of Evil Membership Card", "Semisonic (the band that sang 'Closing Time') Sucks", and "Hey, That's My Uncle!"

"We also might throw in the odd cover, and are considering doing "My Many Smells" or "Everybody Has Nice Stuff But Me" by the Dead Milkmen. Then again, we've been ripping through Julian Cope's "Out of My Mind on Dope and Speed" so that just may make the cut."

Look for the release of the as-yet-untitled CD in early summer, 2003. A limited number of copies will also include several experimental instrumental compositions which D'Amico hopes will make people "want to buy seaweed-based products."
