ABOUT ORFILA

Orfila is named after "Hotel Orfila" — the Hotel that Strindberg stayed at in Paris when he wrote Inferno ... it was there that he got electrically shocked by spirits in the middle of the night.

Front-man + founder Marco D'Amico formerly contributed his vocal + musical talents to the altRock group The Happy Deathmen as well as Christie's Bat Mitzvah and Beware the Haberdash.

Marco currently resides in Brussels with his kitten Kevorkian. While in Belgium he is concentrating on amassing material for the next Orfila cd release [ due out in mid-August 2004 ] and

writings for his third novel, apparently not a sequel to his critically-acclaimed sophomore fictional account entitled "Don't Play Hopskotch Blindfolded in a Dark Tunnel While Whistling 'Dixie' or Some Other Random Song <sound of crackling fire> Instead of Going to the Market to Purchase Cheese that is On Sale".
